Hi! I’m Sangwook.
Thanks for stopping by. I made this website to help IB students, from one student to another, as I was in your place not long ago.
A little about me: I graduated with a 45/45, with A for both TOK and Extended Essay. I first went to Duke University, and now I’m in a medical school. Over the years, I’ve helped many students with TOK and English Lang & Lit, so I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. Hopefully, that means you can trust this site to give you tips that actually work.
I had a love/hate relationship with Theory of Knowledge. I loved the class (shoutout to my amazing teacher), but the assessments really, really confused me. It took a lot of trial and error — and headaches — to finally make sense of it.
But you’re done with TOK. Why did you make this?
Yeah I’m done with TOK, whew! But I always thought TOK gets made way more complicated than it needs to be, and I know it doesn’t have to be. So one day I sat down and made the kind of resource I wish I had when I was in IB. So here’s the clean, honest roadmap for 2 years of TOK.
